‘Abandoned’ was a college based project which required the creation of a title sequence and was imagined as a post-apocalypse thriller. It immediately creates a dark and chilling atmosphere, with glitch effects in sync with the soundtrack to emphasise the dystopian world seen from the start by the audience. The noise of guns being loaded combined with the powerful music rises to a finale at the end, just as an episode would begin. Throughout the sequence, the names and roles of the actors are announced using a clear and modern font in white which acts as a marked contrast to the dark scenes behind them. I was responsible for all aspects of this title sequence including filming, sound design, colour grading and editing.
